About
Hi, thanks for taking the time to look at my Posterous space.
My name is Craig Coggle, and I’m the creator and writer here. I’m married with a son and I live in Camden, London.
Ten years ago I was struggling.
I found myself tossed around by life, feeling as if I was reacting to events and circumstances rather than engineering my own path and progress. I was struggling in relationships and unhappy in work and felt isolated within myself most of the time.
So, eventually, I went on a meditation retreat.
It was a New Year’s Eve candlelit gathering in the North of England and it changed my life.
I had meditated sporadically before but this was taking it to a different level and I was way out of my depth. People around me were chanting I don’t know what, my legs were agony, I couldn’t help feeling that I was getting it all wrong. And I loved it, every challenge and every moment. It started a deep and much needed immersion into my inner self, one that set me on a course to find wisdom and balance in every moment of my journey.
A course to find bliss.
Although I don’t pretend to be a meditation master, that experience laid the foundation for a practice that has transformed my personal life, my work situation, my health, and my happiness.
I have since studied many of the meditation masters that have walked this path before me:Osho, Charlotte Joko Beck, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Alan Watts, S. N. Goenka, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and Daisaku Ikeda.
Now I want to pass on some of the many, many miraculous and positive benefits of a consistent meditation practice and I want you to experience changes within yourself that youwill find hard to believe. These are what I call the awesome tools for skillful living and they start with Meditation Tools, Stress Defence Tools and Monk 101 Tools.
My hope is that the practice of meditation will eventually be seen, not as something esoteric and mysterious, but instead as an essential and useful tool that can be of benefit to everyone, every day.
